Kona Historical Society's coffee products featured on Pā'ina by Ocean
By Carolyn Lucas-Zenk, Kona Historical Society Community Engagement Manager
Kona Historical Society is excited to announce that our 100 percent Kona coffee products are being featured on Pā'ina by Ocean, an incredible online platform with original cooking recipes and tutorials, short farm tour videos, and an online Farmer's Market featuring products grown or made on our island. This special partnership begins May 20 and our coffee will be available for a limited time only.
Pā'ina by Ocean was created by a 14-year-old Waimea boy Kamaha'o Ocean Kanekoa and is supported by his talented ohana, many of whom are chefs. Kamaha'o is inspiring people of all ages to support local agriculture and our communities, as well as sparking creativity in our kitchens with locally sourced ingredients. He's helping to shorten the distance between the soil and the plate while educating and celebrating with us the Big Island's bounty and the hard-working people who make it so.
