KU'ULANI AULD
Kona Historical Society Programs Director
PHOTO ONE: What I will remember is that several hundred students were scheduled to visit our sites when the shutdown happened. In an instant, Virtual Field Trips became a thing for Kona Historical Society.
PHOTO TWO: What I will remember is it happened during a rainy spring season and, while sheltering in place, I had the time to enjoy the flowers blooming in abundance in my yard.
PHOTO THREE: What I will remember is launching our boat out of Keauhou bay during a spectacular Super Mahealani Moon and, in that moment feeling secure, safe from threats happening in the world around us.
